It is with the deepest regrets that I announce the dissolution of the NexOS Team and the programming effort that goes along with it. It's been a long time in happening and I should not have tried to keep things going as long as I have.

I've rewritten this paragraph 12 times but there's nothing that really needs to be said. My father used to say this: "Never explain yourself. Your friends don’t need it and your enemies won’t believe it." And that's very true in this case. So I won't.

I'd like to thank everyone who supported us and I'd specially like to thank everyone who hated us, you showed me the light.



Apparently the paragraph above is unclear as evidenced by the amount of confusion created over at the main DF site. So let me try English this time.

I'm not closing the doors on MwA. I'm just not able to be the sole programmer for a bunch of modules anymore. The last programmer walked away without so much as a bye your leave, leaving ForumsPro broken in the SVN. SO, based on that I shut down everything, made an announcement and started cleaning out the forums and the downloads. [heavy sarcasm] I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful and supportive emails that I've received the past two days.[/heavy sarcasm] I am not, however, no matter what anyone thinks, dropping all support and everything for the existing modules. The forums will remain open. The downloads will remain open. The SVN repository contains broken, unfinished code. And, as long as no one on DF jumps to conclusions in the future, there will be 'no further misunderstandings.

One last thing. If the situation changes here at MwA in the future, the programming may start up again. It all depends on how much time I get as I am, after all, the sole programmer at the MwA currently.
